NANYANG, The Musical
NANYANG, The Musical was commissioned by the Singapore International Festival of Arts and premiered at The Drama Centre in Singapore on 6 August 2015. It tells the story of five artists who fled Shanghai via Paris and Bali for Nanyang (South Seas) to escape the encroachment of the Japanese and Germans during the Second World War.
